The MRI scanned image shown above was utilized as a first step in creating a finite element mesh of the cranium region of the skull. The model was then used to conduct virtual impact tests. "A Analytic's" involvement in this project was to assist in recreating the MRI surfaces, such that they could be subsequently meshed with an automated meshing routine. |
